General Academic Strand

GAS is designed to prepare students who are more disposed to general areas than specialized fields. Electives are chosen from the different strands, including Humanities, Social Sciences, Applied Economics, Disaster Preparedness, Organization, and Management.

Students who choose this route are trained to think systematically, critically, and innovatively. GAS courses expose students to different electives in Social Sciences, Business and Management, which facilitates the learner to decide on which program to pursue in college.
