National U gets 100% passing rate; tops January 2017 Sanitary Engineering board exam
National University once again dominated the Sanitary Engineering licensure examination after garnering a 100% passing rate in the January 2017 SE board exam. NU’s Jason Vergara Moral clinched the top spot with 82.57% rating while another NU alumna Precious Jesica Gatchalian Tuazon ranked third with 80.20% rating. NU Bullpups secure Final Four spot; defeat De La Salle Zobel
The National U Bullpups banked on their defense to defeat last season finals rival De La Salle Zobel Junior Archers, 63-52, and secure at least a playoff spot in the Final Four of UAAP Season 79 Juniors basketball tournament. Winderlich Coyoca and Karl Peñano combined for 25 points to help the Bullpups get its 8th win this season. National University architecture student Maria Rebecca Plaza took home the gold in the 2016 Nippon Asia Young Designer Award held last November 24 at the EDSA ShangRi-la Hotel in Mandaluyong City. 25-year old Plaza bested nine other finalists from University of Sto. Tomas, Bulacan State University, University of Mindanao, Holy Angel University and Technological University of the Philippines.
