Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
BS Computer Science is a four-year trimestral undergraduate degree program that includes the study of computing concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations, and new developments in computing. The program prepares you to design and create algorithmically complex software and develop new and effective algorithms for solving computing problems.
The program also includes the study of the standards and practices in Software Engineering. It prepares you to acquire skills and disciplines required for designing, writing, and modifying software components, modules and applications that comprise software solutions.
One unique feature of NU Laguna’s Computer Science program is the inclusion of sports to achieve a healthy school-life balance. Elective sports-related courses, such as e-games analysis and design, are infused into the program, which further train you on the use of multimedia associated with sports settings and organizations.
Further, all students are given the opportunity to train in football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, including the opportunity to use INSPIRE Sports Academy’s high-performance gym.
