The ComEx Brigade organized a webinar entitled “Media Democracy: Prevalence ofInfodemic and Misinformation”, under their Inform-U Project, last September 22, 3pm viaZoom and Facebook Live. Their guest speakers include Ms. Maria Carmel Rimpos (part-time lecturer of NU-NSTP), Mr. Cris Vilchez (MovePH Correspondent) and Ms. Ann Gabrielle Ongjoco (Editor-in Chief ofThe National). The webinaraimed to enlighten thecommunity regarding theimportance of fact-checking and to provide avenue for engagement inpreventing the spread offake news in social media.
