Apprenticeship and Internship
The internship program at National University is designed to offer students immersive training through the practical application of theories learned in the classroom. In line with Republic Act 7722, also known as the Higher Education Act of 1994, and pursuant to Commission en banc Resolution No. 148 dated April 19, 2009, National University adheres to all mandated systems, policies, programs, and procedures. Our commitment extends to maintaining a safe and healthy environment that nurtures program participants, challenges their creativity, fosters resilience, and encourages competitiveness.
General Objectives:
- Provide tertiary students the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge, skills, and desirable attitudes and values in reputable establishments/industries.
- Enhance students’ work competencies and discipline as they relate to people in the workplace.
- Promote competitiveness of students through their training.
- Strengthen and enrich the degree programs of the University.
- Offer opportunities to learn from and network with experienced professionals.
- Enable students to handle new challenges and complex tasks or problems.
- Assist students in identifying future career directions and becoming candidates for future job openings.
