National University Nazareth School hauled gold medals in the UAAP Season 86 Taekwondo tournament last November 27 at the Marikina Sports Center.

The Bullpups dominated all their five matches in one day, courtesy of season MVP Melbourne Lustado who bagged four gold medals in his category (55-63 kg).

Kurt Mykel Curata, Rodito Sinugbojan, Mythaious Angelous Francois Lustado, Kent Banzon and Cyvir Junio also secured gold in their respective categories while John Pascual bagged a silver medal in Category 4.

Bullpups head coach Carlos Padilla expressed pride for their much-awaited victory. “Masaya at overwhelming na nakuha na ng high school ‘yung championship. Finally, yung hard work nila sa training, sabay pa ng pag-aaral, nag-payoff na;” the former National Team standout concluded.
