Medelene L. Forbes or Ma’am Medz to the National University community is the Dean of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management at NU Manila.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Management (EdD) at NU Manila.

Through the years, she has won several awards at National University, namely, the Top Ranked Faculty Award, Service-Oriented Award, Coaching Award, and Faculty Excellence Award — a testament to her dedication and passion for her craft.

As Dean, she does her absolute best in making sure that everything runs smoothly and sees to it that the student’s needs are attended to. Through her vast knowledge and experiences in her field, she is able to impart meaningful lessons through #EducationThatWorks

Serving others to the best of her abilities has always been a part of who she is, and through her work, she inspires her fellow students to do the same.
