With National U’s commitment to enhancing Nationalians’ English proficiency skills, National University signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Hopkins International Partners, Inc. Tuesday, January 23 at the Office of the President Board Room.

Hopkins administers a Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC®) Listening and Reading Test Orientation and provides institutional score reports for test takers. They also vow to conduct a management report presentation for the Top Management and make the online learning platform available to takers.

Hopkins Chief Executive Officer Mr. Rex Wallen Tan was present for the private corporation, together with their Operations Manager Ms. Louise Anne Ferenal-Marquez and Business Development Executive Ms. Loraliey Mae Valdez while National U was represented by NU President and CEO Dr. Renato Carlos Ermita Jr., Vice President for Operations Dr. Arlene Trillanes, College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS) Director for Language Institute Ms. Ma. Lourdes Olegario and CEAS Dean Dr. Leo Del Rosario who also extended his heartfelt gratitude to the NU community in embarking this journey and commitment to language cultivation.

As the Institution continues to provide quality education, NU VPO, Dr. Arlene Trillanes expressed enthusiasm to this partnership. “We look forward to the result and we hope to see further improvement to the performance of our students,” she stated.

Meanwhile, Hopkins CEO, Mr. Tan commended NU’s performance and thanked the university for trusting their corporation through the course of its development.
