National U rules Sanitary Engineering board exam anew
National University once again proved its dominance in the Sanitary Engineering Licensure Examinations after securing the top one and two spots in the exams held January 2018.
Lorenz Carlo Robedillo Gonzales and Kevin Laurio Valderrama, who are both from National U topped the exams after garnering 82.32% and 80.64% respectively.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 50 out of 99 examinees passed the licensure examination and only two are eligible to enter the topnotchers list from the usual ten spots.
Aside from grabbing the lone two top spots, National U was also named as the Top Performing School after registering a phenomenal 100% passing percentage. It is the first time since August 2015 that the school got the Top Performing School citation.
Program chair Alan Alzona shared that they somehow expected that NU will rule the board exams since they are continuously improving the curriculum to help the students pass the licensure exams.
“Our curriculum here is focused on the professional courses since this is just a bridging program. When we made the curriculum, it is already aligned with the requirements and syllabus of the board exams for Sanitary Engineering.” Prof. Alzona said.
Oathtaking and awarding of the top performing school honor was held last February 15 at The Manila Hotel.
