NU Pep Rally kicks off UAAP Season 85
The NU Athletics Office led the return of the annual university pep rally, yesterday at the NU Manila Gym.
Students and employees rallied in support of the student-athletes for their upcoming UAAP season 85 competitions.
All the teams were individually introduced while history maker, UAAP Season 84 Women’s Volleyball division MVP and Rookie of the Year, Mhicaela Belen delivered an inspirational message. Former King Bulldog, Men’s Basketball Champion Team Captain Glenn Khobuntin was also present at the event.
One of the event’s major highlights was the unveiling of the mural of Dr. Hans Sy’s adage “Stay focused, stay hungry, stay humble”, the words that have been the NU student athletes’ motto ever since this was uttered by the NU Chairman.
Performances from the National University Dance Company, NU Percussion Department, Cheer Squadron, and the NU Pep Squad made the event lively and entertaining. UAAP Basketball and Volleyball season passes along with NU merch were given away to several students from different campuses who were present live and thru MS Teams.
The Gold and Blue community is ready to support the NU student-athletes. Bring it on, Bulldogs!
