The NU Bulldogs took their fifth consecutive championship in the UAAP Season 86 Collegiate Taekwondo after defeating UST last November 29, Wednesday at the Marikina Sports Complex. NU with a 3-4 start, stained UST’s 4-0 record, disregarding the latter’s automatic 1-0 lead in the final series. The NU Pep Squad’s Elvis Presley-inspired routine earned a silver trophy in the UAAP Season 86 Cheerdance Competition, December 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The Jhocson-based squad rocked the dance floor and set the bar high with their renowned jaw-dropping stunts and tosses under the rendition of its new mentor, Coach Gab Bajacan.
