National U seals PACLIC 36 partnership with DLSU
National University sealed its partnership with De La Salle University through a virtual ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for PACLIC 36 (Pacific Asia Conference on Language, Information, and Computation) held on September 1.
The MOU signing was graced by NU Executive Vice President Dr. Rosauro Manuel, Assistant Vice President for Academic Services Arlene Trillanes, and Academe Industry Linkage and Placement Director Dr. Glendora Tiu. Meanwhile, DLSU was represented by (Bro. Andrew Gonzalez FSC College of Education) BAGCED Dean Dr. John Addy Garcia, Associate Dean Dr. Rochelle Irene Lucas, DEAL-BAGCED Chair Dr. Shirley Dita. IdeaCorp (Phils) fellow Dr. Rachel Edita Roxas was also present along with other members of the PACLIC steering committee and key officials of both universities.
Following the long tradition of PACLIC conferences, PACLIC 36 emphasizes the synergy of theoretical frameworks and processing of natural language, providing a forum for researchers from different fields to share and discuss progress in scientific studies, development and application of the topics related to the study of languages. The 36th annual Meeting of Pacific Asia Conference on Language, Information and Computation (PACLIC 36) will be held virtually on October 20-22, 2022.
