NU Research and Development Office Hosts Multistakeholder Workshop 2025

The NU Research and Development Office (RDO) Multistakeholder Workshop 2025 gathered the visionary research leaders of National University—research and development officials, deans, and department chairs—for a dynamic and solutions-driven discussion on enhancing the university’s research landscape.

With the theme “Strengthening Research Leadership and Ecosystem Through Stakeholder Collaboration,” the workshop tackled key topics such as research incentives, internal and external funding, development initiatives, and strategies for boosting research competence and upgrading resources. Using a collaborative SWOT analysis, participants identified challenges, explored opportunities, and proposed actionable strategies—culminating in a validated action plan built through unified insight and leadership.

This workshop is more than just a standalone activity; it represents a significant step forward in cultivating a resilient, future-oriented research culture at NU Philippines—one that empowers both faculty and student researchers to engage in meaningful, innovative inquiry.
