Dr. Robert Licup is a distinguished leader in Civil and Sanitary Engineering, recently honored as the 2024 Outstanding Professional in Civil Engineering by the Professional Regulation Commission, following his 2020 recognition in Sanitary Engineering.

In 2022, he received Distinction Awards for his contributions to professional practice and organizational development from the Philippine Federation of Professional Associations.
His leadership encompasses multiple prestigious roles, including serving as the National President of both the Philippine Society of Sanitary Engineers (PSSE) and the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE).
He currently serves as the 1st Deputy Secretary General of the Asian Civil Engineering Coordinating Council.

In Sep 2024, Dr. Licup was appointed by the Office of the President of the Philippines as the Chairperson of the Professional Regulatory Boards for Sanitary Engineers, Professional Regulations Commission.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Development Administration (2003) and a Masters in Management (1996).
