Manila, Philippines – The annual NU Alumni-Employee Gathering held its second celebration at the Multipurpose Hall of the NU Annex Building last August 2, 2024, bringing together NU alumni-employees for a memorable event, once again.

The event was a hybrid affair and attended by more than 120 attendees, both in-person and online. This year, the gathering saw a significant increase in participation, with alumni from various campuses joining the celebration for the first time.

Key executives from NU Philippines graced the occasion, including President and CEO Dr. Renato Ermita Carlos, Jr.; Vice President for Corporate Affairs Mr. Rolando T. Averilla; Executive Vice President Dr. Rosauro E. Manuel; and Vice President for Operations of NU Manila Dr. Arlene O. Trillanes.

To add to the festive atmosphere, the Alumni Office initiated games like Bring Me and Quiz Bee. As a continuation of the celebration, the office has plans to host a sports fest for NU alumni-employees in December 2024.

The successful event was a collaborative effort from the Shared Services Office of the NU Alumni Affairs Office and the NU Human Resource Office.
