The National University Nazareth School Basketball Teams made another podium finish, taking home gold and silver medals in the UAAP Season 85 High School 3×3 Basketball last April 29-30 at the Ateneo Blue Eagle Gym in Quezon City.

The NUNS Lady Bullpups bagged the first ever championship title for the Girls’ division with a sweep record to celebrate their UAAP debut. They faced their UST rival, starting the match with an 11-0 hotshot and left no crumbs for the Junior Tigresses to claim the title, 19-11.

“This is not about me or anyone behind the scenes, this is a testament to the determination of our girls,” NUNS basketball head coach Camilla Escoto expressed.

Cielo Pagdulagan was hailed as the Girls’ 3×3 Most Valuable Player after putting off 8.0 points and 7.4 rebounds in five games played.

Meanwhile, the NUNS Bullpups shone through the finals with silver medals after facing their same Junior Basketball rival FEU-D, 11-17.

RJ Colonia led NUNS in the semis and finals matchups with 12 combined points while Reinhard Jumamoy assisted with 7 points.
