The NU-Nazareth School (NUNS) continuously dominated the UAAP Season 85 Girls Volleyball Tournament after beating Adamson University last March 20 at the Paco Arena.

The Lady Bullpups elevated their team performance to blow out Adamson with 26-24, 25-22, 29-27 set scores in Game 3 of their best-of-three finals series. They also swept the eliminations (10-0) and gained 23-win streaks from Season 82 dating back to 2019.

Season 85 Best Setter Abegail Pono was named Finals MVP after maximizing her wingers to help secure their sixth championship title.

Likewise, Season’s MVP Kianne Olango was hailed as Best Opposite Hitter while Celine Marsh with 2nd Best Outside Hitter award.

Meanwhile, the NUNS Boys Volleyball Team ended the season as second placers to FEU with a couple of individual awards; Eugenio Gloria bagged the Season MVP award, Jeff Gallego is the league’s Best Setter while Herbert Egger snatched the Rookie of the Year as well as the Best Middle Blocker award.
