NU Main Admissions Scholarship Requirements and other Discounts
Don Mariano F. Jhocson Gold Scholar (For Graduates of with Highest Honors/May Pinakamataas na Karangalan)
Students with Highest Honors/May Pinakamataas na Karangalan with no grades lower than 90% in all subjects from 1st to 4th quarter can apply to this academic scholarship.
REQUIREMENTS:
Certificate coming from the high school signed by the Principal indicating the award received by the student
Complete Grade 12 Report Card (Form 138)
Certificate of Good Moral Character
Original copy of PSA-Authenticated Birth Certificate
Recent 2×2 Colored ID Picture with white background
Applicants should not have a grade lower than 90% in all subjects from 1st Quarter to 4th Quarter grading period

Gold scholars are still subject to an interview to qualify for other benefits (Free School Uniform, Trimester Book Allowance, Trimestral stipend). This can be availed for 4years/5years (depending on the degree program) provided that the student complies with the retention requirements set by the University. Students with High Honors/May Mataas na Karangalan with no grades lower than 90% in all subjects from 1st to 4th quarter can apply to this academic scholarship.

Mariano Jhocson Science Scholarship Program (For Graduates from Science High School)
Awarded to students from the identified Science high school who maintained a grade of 88% in all subjects from 1st to 4th quarter in Senior High School with an annual family income not exceeding Php360,000.00 per year.
REQUIREMENTS:
Latest tax exemption certificate or income tax return of both parents with an annual family income not exceeding P360,000 per year
Two (2) recommendation letters from school administrators or faculty (attach a photocopy of valid ID of the recommender) addressed to Admissions Director

Photocopy of company Identification Card (ID) of the employee of SM or its affiliates
Copy of PSA-Authenticated Birth Certificate of both employee and student applicant/enrollee

Alumni Discount
Students who graduated from National University.
REQUIREMENTS:

NU Nazareth School and NU Senior High School Loyalty Discount
Students who graduated from NU Senior High Schools and National University Nazareth School.
REQUIREMENTS:
An official certification issued by the NU SHS Registrar’s Office verifying their enrollment in Grades 11 and 12 at either NU Nazareth or in any NU SHS or other documents such as the Certificate of Registration (COR) or Report Card, will be accepted.

20% discount on tuition fees and miscellaneous fees every term
Sibling Discount
This discount is given to siblings currently enrolled in any NU campus.
REQUIREMENTS:
Certificate of Registration/Assessment Form of both Siblings from National University
Copy of PSA-Authenticated Birth Certificate of both siblings
BENEFITS:
Sibling Discount of Two Enrolled – 10% discount on Tuition Fee
Sibling Discount of Three Enrolled – 15% discount on Tuition Fee
Sibling Discount of Four Enrolled – 20% discount on Tuition Fee
Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)
Qualified dependent of the AFP who is the recipient of the educational benefit grant.
REQUIREMENTS:
Endorsement Letter from AFPEBSO
Copy of PSA-Authenticated Birth Certificate of both AFP personnel and dependent
Certificate of No Marriage for PCG personnel whose siblings are applying in NU.
Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)
Qualified dependent of the PCG who is the recipient of the educational benefit grant.
REQUIREMENTS:
Endorsement letter from the Philippine Coast Guard.
Copy of PSA-Authenticated Birth Certificate of both PCG personnel and dependent
Certificate of No Marriage for PCG personnel whose siblings are applying in NU.
PMA Alumni Educational Foundation Inc. (PEFTI)
REQUIREMENTS:
Endorsement Letter from the PMA Alumni Educational Foundation (PEFTI)
Copy of PSA-Authenticated Birth Certificate of both PMA alumni and dependent.
SM Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is an external scholarship given by SM Foundation to the qualified applicants.
REQUIREMENTS:
Endorsement Letter from SM Foundation.
