This teacher education program provides the students with principles and up-to-date strategies that they can apply in teaching English as a second language. It prepares the students to be skillful in listening and reading and proficient in speaking and writing to convey knowledge to the students in secondary education in terms of vocabulary, grammar, discourse, and literary works. It is designed to train students to be competent and effective teachers of the 21st century high school learners of English.

LABORATORY: 12 UNITS
Required for course completion: General Education, Professional Education and Elective Subjects, Field Trips, Seminars andWorkshops, Field Study Subjects such as School and Classroom Observation, Classroom Management Skills, Micro-Teaching,Team Teaching, and Practice Teaching in Both Private and Public High Schools, and Research Output.
