Cara Larize A. De Villa, Cum Laude in BS Electronics Engineering, is our 2021 Don Mariano Fortunato Jhocson Memorial Awardee.

An NU Academic scholar and consistent Dean’s Lister, Cara was always working hard and staying focused on her goals.

She was President of the NU Integrated Electronics Engineering Society, an ECE Representative of the NU Student Government, an active member of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines, and Secretary-General of the NU Integrated Electronics Engineering Society.

Cara’s success is a testament to how #EducationThatWorks has taught her how to fully embody NU’s core values and live out what it truly means to be a nation builder.
