National University Inaugurates University Museum


The NU Museum located in the Camilo Osias Hall, opened its doors to the community yesterday, November 20, to show the rich history and legacy of the Gold and Blue.
The ribbon cutting was led by NU Chairman of the Board, Dr Hans T. Sy, Board Director, Ms. Susan Dimacali, NU President and CEO, Dr. Renato Carlos H. Ermita Jr., NU Legacy Office Director, Dr. Marius Hernani S. Garcia, NU Museum consultant, Ar. Joel V. Rico, FPIA, UAP, and the kin of Don Mariano, Dr. Arline Royo.
Legacy Office Director, Dr. Garcia expressed how honored he was for finding the rightful place to house the artifacts. “All these are physical evidences of our cultural heritage which we should preserve for generations.”
The unveiling of the Museum Marker was followed by the blessing and a tour to view the NU memorabilia.
