National University and Zone 42 Barangays forge Stronger Partnership!

A ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and barangay resolutions took place between NU Manila and Barangays 405–416 in Zone 42, District 4, Sampaloc, Manila. This signifies a strengthened partnership between the academic institution and the surrounding barangays, fostering initiatives like capacity-building training, livelihood activities, health programs, and community development projects.​
NU Manila was represented by its top management: Dr. Rosauro E. Manuel (Group Academic Officer/Chief Information Officer), Dr. Arlene O. Trillanes (VP for Operations), and Ms. Ma. Reina Rose D. Gulmatico (AVP for Academic Services) and Ms. Jenelyn J. Salimbagat (ComEx/NSTP Director). ​
Individual barangay chairpersons were also present to sign the memorandum of understanding. They were:​
