Ms. Johanna Minglana, an advocate of continuous quality improvement, is currently the Director of the Quality Management Office (QMO) of National University, Philippines. She graduated Cum Laude at St. Paul University Manila and obtained a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from DLSU while a scholar of the CHEd FDPII.

In 2012, she was appointed Director for External Relations of APC where her excellent work solidified industry-academe partnerships for 7 years. One of her legacies is streamlining and establishing relationships with industry partners. During her time in APC, Ms. Minglana was also responsible in acquiring APC’s autonomous status award from the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd).

She chaired various audit programs of NU and capped off AY 2021-2022 with an NU Oval Award Nomination in Integrity. NU Main passed all the accreditation levels it applied for during the year and maintain its ISO 9001:2015 Certification (First Surveillance Audit) without a single non-compliance because of her efforts.

Ms. Minglana also has a Certification in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language (TESL/TEFL). She accumulated a rich experience in being a TEFL/TESL Instructor in Xiamen, Fujian Province and in Jinan, Shandong Province.

Most important of all, her leadership, with the strong support of the NU top management, fulfilled a promise; for NU to be awarded QS 3 Star Rating Overall. Her transformative leadership activated student and alumni allegiance to APC through various interesting student activities, mentoring & coaching.
