Bachelor of Science in Information Systems
BS Information Systems is a four-year trimestral undergraduate degree program that teaches you to apply information technology to organizations. Trained to be a process analyst, a solution specialist, a systems, and data analyst, you would be able to implement an information system, which considers complex technological and organizational factors, ensuring that the company has the information and the systems it needs to support its operations.
As a graduate of BSIS, you can help an organization determine how information and technology-enabled business processes can be used as strategic tool to achieve a competitive advantage. As a result, IS professionals require a sound understanding of organizational principles and practices so that they can serve as an effective bridge between the technical and management, users, communities within an organization. This program will enable you to ensure that your future organization has the information and the systems it needs to support its operations.
One unique feature of NU Laguna’s BS IS program is the inclusion of sports to achieve a healthy school-life balance. Elective sports-related courses, such as e-games analysis and design, are infused into the program, which further train you on the use of multimedia associated with sports settings and organizations.
Further, all students are given the opportunity to train in football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, including the opportunity to use INSPIRE Sports Academy’s high-performance gym.
