COMEX and NTSP Organize Two-day Community Extension at BJMP San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan – Female Dormitory
In line with the 3rd and 5th Sustainable Development Goals – promoting good health and well-being and advancing gender equality – and in celebration of the National Women’s Month, the NU Fairview Community Extension and NSTP Office, in collaboration with the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Senior High School Department and selected offices, organized a two-day community extension event at the BJMP San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan – Female Dormitory on March 27 and March 28, 2025.

The event featured a series of activities aimed at achieving the following objectives:
1. Empowering Women: To foster women’s empowerment among the personnel of BJMP San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan – Female Dormitory through cybersecurity seminar and session on hair and beauty techniques.
2. Promoting Health and Well-Being: To enhance the health and well-being of both PDLs and personnel by hosting the 2025 Zumba competition.
3. Instilling Hope: To convey to persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) that freedom is attainable and that there is life beyond the detention facility, helping them feel valued and acknowledged.


This initiative reflects NU Fairview’s commitment to fulfilling National University’s mission of improving the living conditions and well-being of community members.
