Psychology is a scientific and systematic underpinning of the different behaviors (observable) and mental processes (not directly observable). Its primary goal is to describe, explain, predict, and control behavior.
NU Fairview’s BS Psychology program is set to PEER (Prepare, Equip, Ensure, and Ready) the students in becoming competitive professionals in the field of psychology. The curriculum is designed to prepare the graduates in facing the endeavors of their professions after graduation. The curriculum is made up of professional courses, natural sciences with practicum for both clinical and industrial settings which hones and molds the students to be ready for the licensure examination of Psychometricians.
It is further designed to equip and ensure graduates to pursue further studies such as in the graduate programs and become Psychologists and/or Counselors or even in becoming a medical doctor or lawyer.
