Program Overview

• The Bachelor of  Physical Education (BPEd) is a four-year undergraduate program at NU It aims to develop specialists in areas such as sports, dance, recreation, and physical fitness, while also training students in teaching, coaching, officiating, and program administration in sports, dance, and recreation.
• The program aligns with NU’s mission of accessible, quality education aimed at equipping graduates for real-world application and community impact

embodied in their motto “Education That Works.” It addresses the growing need for qualified physical education professionals in schools, fitness, and sports sectors.

Program Objectives

Graduates of the BPEd program are expected to:

Serve as well-rounded physical education teachers, proficient in delivering lessons across diverse activities.

• Excel in sports coaching and officiating, applying techniques and rules effectively.
• Manage, supervise, and administer sports, recreation, and dance programs with competence and leadership.
