Pangkabuhayan Cart Turnover
Today, February 16, 2024, the NU ComEx proudly presented a fully equipped food cart courtesy of the College of Engineering to one of its YCARES Project scholars, Jude Alayon and his mother in Sta. Maria, Bulacan. This was made possible through the unit’s Christmasayahan: Pangkabuhayan Project.
They say, better late than never! Initially planned to turnover during the ComEx Volunteer Month last December, the ComEx Office finally found the right partner to help in transporting the cart from Manila to Bulacan.
Special thanks to the generous support of officers from the 7th CRG, CRS, Armed Forces of the Philippines:
Pfc Michael Angelo V Delos Trinos (FS) PA
Pfc Daryl T Miranda PA
Tsg Efren C Eugene PA
Pvt Princess C Villamer PA
Along with them is our ComEx Office representatives Ms. Steffi Gabrielle Dillague and Mr. John Jev Sablaya for their invaluable assistance.
This incredible initiative will empower Jude and his family to start their own snack kiosk, opening doors to new opportunities and financial independence. The cart comes loaded with essential kitchen tools and ingredients. This heartwarming collaboration demonstrates the power of community and dedication to empowering others. We wish Jude and his family all the best in their entrepreneurial journey!
