National University receives recognition from the MDRRMO
The National University was recognized for being the FIRST university to foster partnership with the Manila LGU and Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management last October 25, 2024 during the Manila Fire Fighter Summit 2024. This is in appreciation for the integration of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) in the university’s programs. National University received an award during the Dugong Bayani Awards 2024, last October 10, 2024. The Gawad Apolinario Mabini Award was given by the Department of Health, Philippine Blood Center in recognition of NU’s consistent commitment to community extension. This award acknowledges our outstanding efforts in conducting mobile blood donation activities from 2020 to 2023, resulting in an accumulated collection of 200 to 299 units of blood.
