Two NU Alumnae Honored for 30 Years of Service

Manila, Philippines (August 19, 2024) – National University celebrated its 124th Founding Anniversary on August 1—recognizing two of its alumnae for their exceptional three-decade commitment to the institution.

Ma. Lourdes Virginia G. Dorias, who earned her Master of Arts (MA) in Education in 2014, and Almira M. Ibangga, a Bachelor of Elementary Education graduate from 1993 and MA in Special Education 2013—were both awarded the prestigious thirty-year service award during the anniversary celebration held at the Multipurpose Hall of NU Annex Building.

Ma’am Lourdes Dorias now serves as the Senior Supervisor of the Student Development & Activities Office at NU Dasmariñas. At the same time, Ma’am Almira works as one of the grade school faculty at NU Nazareth School.

This recognition highlights their significant contributions to the National University over the past 30 years. Their dedication undeniably made a positive impact on the institution and its students.
