Leander had the makings of a champion all throughout his time as an NU athlete. He started off his career with the Rookie of the Year Award, followed by three gold medals, and finished strong with his second MVP award on his graduating year.

His great love for the sport led him to pursue a career in tennis as a professional coach. He is a member of the Australian Tennis Professional Coaches Association and was previously Head Coach of the Juniors National Teams of Malaysia and Jakarta. He is currently working as a professional private coach here in the Philippines.

Leander channeled his passion for tennis and made it his mission to train and develop world class athletes. We are proud to call him one of ours and will continue to cheer him on through his victories.
