NU Clark-SEAS and DepEd Mabalacat City Forge Partnership for Inclusive Community Education
NU Clark – School of Education, Arts, and Sciences (SEAS) and the Department of Education (DepEd) Mabalacat City have officially sealed a partnership aimed at advancing accessible and inclusive education in local communities.
The collaboration is anchored on the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Learning Facilitation and Community Extension Program, a joint initiative designed to reach out to out-of-school youth, adult learners, and marginalized sectors through flexible and responsive education solutions.
Through this partnership, NU Clark-SEAS commits to supporting DepEd Mabalacat in facilitating learning sessions, organizing literacy-focused community projects, and equipping student volunteers and faculty members with the training necessary to extend educational services to those in need.
This initiative aligns with both institutions’ shared mission to break down barriers in education and create lasting impact in the lives of learners beyond the traditional classroom setting.
As NU Clark continues to expand its community engagement efforts, collaborations such as this demonstrate the university’s commitment to its core values of academic excellence, social responsibility, and nation-building.
