National University Laguna, alongside NU Lipa and NU Dasmariñas, has officially formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Region IV-A. The MOU was signed in a ceremony led by NCIP Regional Director Atty. Josefina Rodriguez-Agusti at NU Lipa.

This strategic partnership emphasizes a shared commitment to the protection and promotion of the rights, heritage, and well-being of Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) in the CALABARZON region. The collaboration aims to empower these communities, preserve their cultural identities, and ensure the sustainable protection of their ancestral domains, fostering a brighter future for ICCs/IPs in the region.

Through this alliance, NU Laguna and its partner universities reaffirm their dedication to education that works, compassion, and the empowerment of Indigenous communities.
