AB Communication Chair Presents Research at OpenTESOL 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
RESEARCH ENGAGEMENT | INTERNATIONAL
AB Communication Program Chair of NU Dasmariñas, Mr. Robbie Jan Vincent T. Buelo, attended the 12th OpenTESOL International Hybrid Conference 2024 organized by Ho Chi Minh City Open University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The said conference covered the on-site presentation of “Recalibration of Purposive Communication Curriculum: Meeting the Standards of the ASEAN Region,” which was authored by Asst. Prof. Robbie Jan Vincent T. Buelo, together with professors from Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite and Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas.
In addition, a pre-recorded presentation of the study “The Language of Therapeutic Talks: Multimodal Analysis of Counselling Discussions at Public School in Cavite, Philippines,” with professors from Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas, which was talked over, too, during the conference.
Sir Robbie also received a Scholarship Certificate from National Geographic Learning for one online Learning Knowledge for ELT program.
