The NU Baliwag Senior High School Department is more than ready to welcome a new generation of learners as it officially held the Orientation on the Strengthened SHS Program for incoming Grade 11 students and their parents for the academic year 2025–2026.

This orientation served as a vital platform to introduce the key enhancements of the new Senior High School (SHS) curriculum, which aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education. Designed to foster inclusive and future-ready learning, the revised program is anchored on the university’s commitment to provide Education that Works.

The updated SHS curriculum features:

• Enhanced subject offerings that address both foundational and emerging competencies;

• Career-focused academic tracks tailored to align with students’ passions and real-world industry demands; and

• Student-centered innovations that equip learners with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in college, the workforce, and their personal lives.

Parents and students were guided through the new learning pathways, assessment standards, support systems, and co-curricular opportunities that will define their NU Baliwag SHS journey. Faculty members and school leaders also highlighted the university’s continuous pursuit of academic excellence and holistic development.
