Team Langit Lupa wins 3rd place at the Web3 Game Jam at STI Global City

Let’s congratulate team Langit Lupa for winning 3rd place at the Web3 Game Jam. They were awarded last November 21, 2023, at the STI Global City.
The Game Jam is a continuing 24-hour competition where most of the students stay in the venue overnight to finish their game. The goal of the event is to create a Web3/Blockchain game that incorporates NFT in their ideas which must be implemented in a browser or mobile platform.
Among the 26 participating teams, Team Langit Lupa – comprised of 4 School of Computing and Information Technologies students and 1 School of Engineering student, developed the game, Claudere Portali – a 3D strategy turn-based game about the characters defending their world from medieval enemies.
During the Finals, Langit Lupa’s 5-minute pitch tackled the future development of the game and the community, including the demonstration of their game which led them to land in the Top 3.
