NU Bacolod and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Bacolod City Sealed Partnership for Collaboration
NU Bacolod and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bacolod City have officially forged a meaningful collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). his partnership aims to enhance research initiatives, knowledge-sharing, and capacity-building programs that will empower communities and promote good governance.
The MOA signing was led by City Director Mr. Christian M. Nagaynay, CESE, representing DILG Bacolod City, and Executive/Academic Director Ms. Ryan Joy J. Dizon, representing NU Bacolod. Also present were key representatives from both institutions, including LGOO VI/Program Manager Ms. May Theresa A. Malongayon and LGOO III/Knowledge and Innovation Design Facilitator Gregorio P. Lopez Jr. from DILG, and Dr. Rosauro E. Manuel (Group Academic/Chief Information Officer, National University Philippines) and Mary Gift D. Dionson (Program Chair, School of Computer Science, NU Bacolod).
Following the ceremonial signing, our distinguished guests embarked on a campus tour, where they explored NU Bacolod’s state-of-the-art facilities and dynamic learning environment. This provided an opportunity to showcase how the university continues to foster academic excellence and community engagement.
