The event was held with NU executives, distinguished guests, priests from the Diocese of Pasig, and local dignitaries.

The ceremony began with a solemn Eucharistic Mass celebrated by Vicar of Clergy, Rev. Fr. Mandy Litana, together with Rev. Fr. Joeffrey Brian V. Catuiran, Rev. Fr. Rodifel G. De Leon, Rev. Fr. Robi Okol, and Rev. Fr. Hernandez Mendoza. Also, among the notable attendees were Dr. Hans T. Sy, the Chairman of the Board of National University Philippines, his son, Mr. Hans T. Sy Jr, the President of SM EDD, the Mayor of Pasig City, Hon. Vico Sotto, Vice Mayor Robert Jaworski and his spouse, Ms. Mikaela Cojuangco-Jaworksi, Congressman Roman Romulo, Kap. Aldwin Ilagan, and the President and CEO of National University, Dr. Renato Carlos H. Ermita Jr.
